Livermore Elementary School Parent Advisory Team

This year marks the beginning of the Livermore Elementary School Parent Advisory Team. The P.A.T. is a forum in which parents can have a voice in the educational process at MSAD # 36, and assist the staff in ways to improve the culture of learning. We are actively seeking new members, and value your time and efforts.  Call Darren Akerman at 592-3192 (cell), 897-3355 (office), or email at dakerman@sad36.org

Our meetings will reconvene in October 2008.

Structure

We will allot a portion of our meeting as an open forum, seeking solution-based approaches. It will be limited to two (2) issues. We recognize that the authority to make policy decisions rests with Administration and MSAD # 36 Board of Directors, and that the LES Principal is the building administrator who will make final decisions pertaining to our suggestions. Mr. Akerman will facilitate our meetings. We will appoint a Parent-Advisory Team (P.A.T.) secretary to take minutes at each meeting. The responsibility of public communication shall rest with Mr. Akerman, (i.e., letters home, telephone calls, website, etc.)

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month, alternating between afternoons (3:30-4:15pm) and evenings (6:00-6:45pm). We meet in the Computer Lab next to the Main office.

Projects
